A summer tradition.
Come for the market, stay for the surroundings!
The Rosseau Farmers Market is set on the beautiful shore of Lake Rosseau in the quaint town of Rosseau. The waterfront park setting offers docking, a supervised beach, a shady gazebo, picnic tables and benches, a playground and washroom facilities.
If you like antique boats and would like a tour of the lake, The Idllwood and the Peerless offer short cruises right from the dock at the market.
Georgian Bay Airways offers floatplane tours a great way to see beautiful Lake Rosseau and the market from the sky.
To compliment your visit to the market, a stroll up the hill brings you to the historic village of Rosseau. Don’t miss a wander through the village which offers a selection of shops, antique stores and even a general store that has been in operation since the late 19th century. If you would like to really get to know the town, a self-directed walking tour is also available.
Voted the number one tourist destination by National Geographic in 2011 and one of the top 20 destinations in 2012 the Parry Sound/Muskoka area offers a wonderful adventure for everyone and is not to be missed. Make sure a visit to Rosseau and the Rosseau Farmers Market is on your “Must-do” list.
